ReplyDeleteIt's only a pleasure and I do hope you will be catious next time.
Deletethat is a really good advice i will try that
ReplyDeleteDo try it and you might be amazed at what it will do for you.
DeleteA good advice indeed hopefully for the best if i try it before the exams starts.
ReplyDeletePrepare for the exams with a healthy body and mind, then you'll be able to focus.
Deletethanks for the advice and reminding us that exams are around the coner, so we need to start now preparing.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed you do, it is never too early to start studying but the earlier the better so give your brain time to memorize and capture every detail orimportant information.
Deleteso do you think that energy boosters can help me cope with exam stress
ReplyDeleteI strongly do not reccomend them at first, but they are effective when you want energy not to deal with stress, explore natural ways to deal with stress like exercising.
DeleteDISAGREE!!!
ReplyDeleteStress is what makes the dog run faster. If you didnt know of exams and their closeness would we still adapt these healthy lifestyle changes. I dont think so.
The only reason people push is when there backs are against corners, exam stress shouldnt be in the back of our minds for us to push. Life as a whole should make us want to push.
We normally only use around 50% of our energy. We should be using 80% NORMALLY, then we'l grow.
If its like this now, when we get to work situations we will only push our project when its due and not before hand!
There is a vast difference between stress and pressure, it is well documented that too much stress can lead to panic attacks as has been highlighted in this post, go read up on it. Too much stress can even lead to you not peforming to the best of your ability in the actual exam. That is why UJ says "Study Smart NOT Hard". Your first statement about the dog is also unsubstantiated as is the one about only using 50% of our energy. Where is the source of these outlandish statements?
DeleteI wouldn't have said that better Quincy, clearly this guy thouht he was smart but sadly he sis lashing out without even having credible and concrete research. THANK YOU for noticing it!
Deletethat tebogo guy is right.. most people feel stressed out about exams because they only begin considering studying a few days before the exam.. putting too much pressure on themselves to cram all that knowledge inot their heads in a few days. f.y.i pressure does lead to stress..
DeleteYou are totally getting it wrong now Edwin, please read the blog post again thoroughly and understand exactly what I am saying.
DeleteMost of students who are suffering from exam stress are the ones who begin to study when only few days left before exams and obvious they will be unable to cover everything due to short space of time.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and they get information overloads hence followed by panic attacks.
DeleteI believe the best remedy for stress is to work hard and play hard
ReplyDeleteBut just not too hard because your brain might just get a breakdown.
Deletethanks for the advice but the important is to execise everyday
ReplyDeleteDo you exercise everyday? Because I must admit, exercise everyday is a challenge for me I exercise atleast twice a week.
DeleteI will surely take note of this tips as I sometimes suffer from exam stress. I also support Trot Khoza, exercise is vital.
ReplyDeleteIt is but honestly now, let's be realistic, with the fast pace life we are living, we hardly have time for exercising everyday.
DeleteThats a very good advice...we must all consider it.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you find it useful Moimane.
Deletethe more we study is the more we get hungry and crave brain food. multivitamins can never replace the foods you discribed above, i do agree we must look after our health
ReplyDeleteIf you eat before you start studying, then you won't feel hungry while you are studying. I recommend fibre in the food you eat before studying because fibre is healthy and fills for stomach for up to five hours.
DeleteExam time students needs to limits some things and start doing other like following those methods you have mentioned
ReplyDeleteYes indeed. This is a time when priorities need to be set straight.
